49ers
- 49ers HC Kyle Shanahan announced that C.J. Beatherd will be the team’s starting quarterback in Week 10 against the Giants with Jimmy Garoppolo serving as their backup.
- The 49ers officially ruled out seven players including OLB Aaron Lynch (calf), TE George Kittle (ankle), LB Elijah Lee (knee) and WR Trent Taylor (ribs).
- The 49ers also have DE Solomon Thomas (knee) and CB K’Waun Williams (quadriceps) both down as questionable.
- It’s worth mentioning that LT Joe Staley (eye) wasn’t listed on the injury report, but Shanahan indicated that he will be a game-time decision. (Matt Barrows)
Buccaneers
- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers officially ruled out DE Will Gholston and QB Jameis Winston for Week 10’s game against the Jets.
- The Buccaneers list six players as questionable including DE Robert Ayers, OT Demar Dotson, CB Brent Grimes, DT Gerald McCoy, OT Donovan Smith and G J.R. Sweezy.
Lions
- Ian Rapoport reports that the Cardinals attempted to sign TE Hakeem Valles off of the Lions’ practice squad on Friday after they lost TE Ifeanyi Momah for the season, but Detroit increased Valles’ salary in order to keep him.
- The Detroit Lions officially ruled out G T.J. Lang and LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin for Week 10’s game and have DE Ezekiel Ansah down as doubtful.
- Lions S Don Carey and WR Kenny Golladay are both questionable this weekend.
Rams
- The Los Angeles Rams officially list OLB Robert Quinn and TE Derek Carrier as doubtful and RB Malcolm Butler as out for Week 10’s game.
